Hello, everyone! A bit of a late post... (sorry!) But for those of you who don't already know us very well, we thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves to you friends and hear a little about you too! Please leave a comment if you would like! We would love to hear about those who have come across our blog.
I'll make my introduction as short and sweet as possible.
To start, my name is Makenzie and I am 17 years old. I love making jewelry and have been working on building a small business. My dream is to move to Portland, Oregon in a cheap little apartment, have a small storefront shop in the Alphabet District to sell my jewelry and other items (possibly even coffee. I LOVE coffee), serve in a French congregation, and travel. I think that sounds good. I love cities and forests, which is why I would love to live in Oregon. I also love rainy days and cold weather. Something else I think you should know is that I have a love for super heroes, Sherlock BBC, and a very slight obsession with the band Bastille (warning: you may see a lot of posts Bastille related). I love going on little adventures with my family, such as finding new good food places, coffee shops, or just hanging out in L.A. We go on a lot of L.A. adventures so there will be plenty posts about our favorite spots we like to go to over there. I love food so much. There is usually a lot of baking going on in our kitchen and something sweet sitting on the counter top. It's very dangerous. I also have a love for fashion. If I could be someones stylist I would absolutely love it! I also have a love for old movies. My favorite old movie would have to be 'Roman Holiday'. I love photography and am still practicing at getting better at it, and would also like to learn more about videography. Well, enough about me. I'll let Maddi introduce herself now. :)
Well, this is a little awkward seeing as whenever I meet somebody and they ask me to tell them about myself I’m just like “Umm.. I have opinions and I get obsessed with stuff.” Very appealing, I know. I guess I’ll start by saying that I’m twenty-one and I try to embrace every moment of my life. I’m not the most optimistic person so I’ve made it a goal to notice the little things in life and let them make me happy. I feel like it’s working so far. I have a wonderful family, I live in beautiful Southern California, and have been able to travel to many places. I’m an esthetician and full-time Bible teacher. I do get obsessed with things, as I am a very passionate person. My current obsession is with the band Bastille (as Makenzie mentioned earlier, there will be a post on our concerts from last week). I have an ongoing love affair with traveling, and I look forward to going to Greece, England, and France just 60 days from today!! Makenzie and I share a love for cities, coffee, nature, food, and most things European. We’re excited to share these things with you, and hopefully you like them too.. ’cause why else would you be reading this, right? I look forward to reading your comments!
